Pupil Premium and Year 7 catch-up

What is Pupil Premium funding?

The Pupil Premium funding is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged students and to close the gap between them and their peers. Students are eligible for this funding if the total income in their family home is not more than £16,190 or if their parents are in receipt of certain benefits or support. You can check if your child is eligible here.

Like all schools, we aim to spend this money in the way which will have the greatest impact on these students. The links below give more information about how we spend this money and the impact it is having on the achievement of our students.
