Our governing body is made up of members from the local community, including parents, representatives from partnership groups/organisations and staff. The governing body are responsible for overseeing the educational direction of the school to ensure all our students achieve as well as they can.

Governors normally meet twice per term in addition to termly committee meetings.  All governors are expected to make a formal visit to the school each year to monitor the impact of their decisions and the progress the Principal is making towards securing school improvement.

SCHOOL GOVERNOR VACANCIES

The school is seeking to recruit new Governors who can provide strategic support and guidance ensuring high standards of achievement for the school.

We would be delighted to hear from anyone who has:

• An interest in the performance of the school
• An open, enquiring mind and the ability to look at issues objectively
• The confidence to ask questions and join in debate
• An ability to work well with others

We are keen to recruit trustees with skills and expertise in Law, Human Resources or SEND, however, we welcome anyone who is interested in school governance.
