Some students may not have a definite idea of what they would like to do as a career, BUT it is never too early to think about the future and what skills, qualities and qualifications are required in order to reach particular goals. At Ridgewood School, students will have access to lots of support via our careers programme that runs throughout the year.

Students can access careers support in school via their Form Tutors, subject teachers, careers advisors, and from external visitors via assemblies and careers hotspots. Talking to family and friends is also a great way for students to find out more about different careers.

All of our students are given access to Unifrog, a destinations platform, where they can explore career ideas and look for destinations post 16 and 18. They can also use this to build their career profile and create resources such as their CV or personal statement.
