Staff and students at Ridgewood School commemorate Remembrance Day 2021
Our Remembrance Day commemorations today were really moving.
Staff and students took part in a two minute silence at 11am, a wreath was presented by 3 of our prefects, outside in our quad area. This was accompanied by ‘The Last Post’ being played from the centre of the school.
During their PDP time, students listened to a presentation created by our History team. During the presentation students learned ’11 things you may not know about Remembrance day’.
The Personal Development Programme (PDP) takes place during their daily form-group time and encourages our students to develop their personal identity and values, both as an individual citizen and as part of our wider society.
