Jack and Lucy sleep on Sheffield streets for charity
In order to highlight the challenges facing homeless people and raise money to support them, Jack and Lucy Roberts are sleeping on Sheffield's streets this Friday.
At the end of a busy week at school, as nights get darker and colder, most students would be glad to go home and spend Friday night catching up on sleep in their own comfortable, warm bed. Jack and Lucy Roberts, however, have other plans. On Friday 13th October, along with their father and a team of other volunteers, they are taking part in the Overnight Sleep Out to support the Cathedral Archer Project. The charity supports homeless people, helping them to achieve a better life and showing them that they don't have to accept life on the streets.
Through taking part in the Sleep Out, Jack and Lucy will be raising money for and awareness of the Cathedral Archer Project. They are looking to raise as much money as possible and have set up a Just Giving page here. If you would like to support them for sleeping on Sheffield's streets this Friday, please click on the link and donate to this fantastic charity.
Good luck to Jack and Lucy and the rest of their team.
