Christmas Jumper Day 2020
Our students didn't let a last minute date change stop them from kicking off the last week of term with some festive charity dressing.
Tuesday 15th December
Year 7 -13 students all made Monday a brilliant display of 'chrismassy' and sparkly jumpers to raise money for ‘Save the Children.’ In the UK and around the world the charity make sure children are safe and healthy.
For a century, they have stood up for children and made sure their voices are heard. The charity wrote the treaty that sets out the rights of every child, and have been upholding them every day since. They cannot do this alone, so every penny that is raised helps them to work together with children, supporters and partners, to help every child become who they want to be.
Originally scheduled to take place on Friday 14 September, it was necessary to reschedule our 'Save the Children' Jumper Day to Monday 14 December due to our whole-school closure in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Thank you to all of the students and staff who took part, raising some vital funds for charity, and looking rather snazzy whilst doing it.
